No. DonateForIslam is a community giving guide built by Ummah Media Group, a Muslim-owned media company based in California since 2009. We are a for-profit company - not a charity, not a non-profit, and not a payment processor. We curate trusted ways for Muslims to give their time and money, and each link takes you directly to the organization or platform of your choice.
Directly to the platform or charity you choose. DonateForIslam never touches your money - we don't collect payments, store card details, or process transactions. When you click a giving option, you are taken directly to that organization's own website where payments are processed securely by Stripe, a publicly-traded payment company trusted by millions of businesses worldwide including Amazon and Google.
UmmahCauses, our recommended charity platform, charges 0% platform fees - they never take a cut of your donation. Standard payment processing fees (Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) apply and are absorbed by the charity, not the donor. Many platforms charge 5-15% on top of processing fees. UmmahCauses does not.
Every charity listed on UmmahCauses goes through a 6-factor trust evaluation with a transparent score from 0 to 100:

Tax deductibility depends on which charity you donate to. Most charities on UmmahCauses are 501(c)(3) registered in the United States, meaning your donation may be tax-deductible. UmmahPass Supporter memberships ($5.55/mo) are not tax-deductible - that is a product subscription, not a charitable donation. Always consult your tax advisor for your specific situation.

All organizations go through our trust verification process before listing, which evaluates government registration, years established, annual reports, external audits, and third-party ratings.
